Uthando South Africa has partnered with the Cape Flats Sports Academy to turn a vision of hope, opportunity & transformation into a reality that will be observed by thousands of youth within the marginalised Cape Flats Community! The vision is to build a world-class sports facility that will provide equipment, coaching, & competitive facilitation within a variety of sporting codes! We believe that sport & opportunities within sport should be accessible for all communities!

What is the draw card?

The facility will be built entirely out of repurposed waste materials i.e. tyres filled with crushed building rubble, plastic bottles filled with rubbish, film-set waste bricks, glass bottles, and other waste materials, cleaning the planet with every square meter that is built! 

We Need Your Help!

Help us finance the construction of the Moeen Ali & JP Duminy Multi-Purpose Sports Centre! The building will cost approximately R35 000 000, and once completed it will bring dignity, hope, opportunity, and equality for youth in the Cape Flats!
