Help Us Build The Most Spectacular Eco-Conscious Early Childhood Development Centre In The World!
Goal50 ECD will be built out of 5 000 tyres, 12 000 plastic bottles filled with rubbish, 6 000 film-set waste, glass bottles and other waste materials!
#fromwastetowonder
Problem Statement
In communities like Heideveld, high-quality Early Education Facilities & After School Programmes are few and far between. Goal50 ECD changes this narrative, fostering solid educational foundations & providing safe spaces for 300-500 youth each year!
A broad array of services for the community
Goal50 will comprise of an educare for children aged 3-6, a daycare for babies, and will include a library, and an IT lab for primary and high school students. Meals will also be prepared for children throughout the day, ensuring that they receive ample nutrition!
The draw card
The repurposed materials used to build the facility are free, meaning that money spent on this facility is going into the pockets of the community that is building it!
We Need Your Help!
Help us raise the 8 million rand needed to complete Phase 2 & 3 of the facility! Phase 1 was built out of 1700 tyres, and once Phases 2 & 3 are completed, 5000 tyres would have been removed from landfills in Cape Town!
