The name “Thunariso” is a heartfelt acronym derived from the names of our children: Thu from Thuso (our firstborn son), Na from Naledi (our daughter), and Riso from Thoriso (our youngest son), symbolizing the family roots that inspired our journey.

The organisation is supported by a dedicated team who work collaboratively to create an enriching educational environment. Thunariso facilitates hands-on workshops that teach essential skills in organic farming and sustainable gardening practices.
