This facility is a beacon of hope within the marginalised community of Heideveld, in Cape Town. Youth here need a place to develop and at the same time, call home. Services including Early Childhood Development, Information Technology, A communal library, and daily hot meals makes Goal50 so critical, and a home away from home.
What is the draw card?
By the end of phase 3, the facility will be built out of 5 000 tyres, 12 000 plastic bottles filled with rubbish, 6 000 film-set waste bricks, glass bottles and other waste materials, reducing our carbon footprint during the build.
