Vicky Is An Uthando Ambassador!

Vicky Sampson: “I have agreed to lend my voice to Uthando SA because since I first met James Fernie, some time during 2025, through a fund raising initiative for the Alcardo Andrews Foundation, I was extremely moved by their contribution towards giving our youth positive alternatives from the usual choices we have within our communities i:e:- Gangsterism and drugs.
Also, I was struck by James’s very warm and down to earth nature.
I could feel that he really cares about the future of this nation and so many of our plans and dreams came into alignment, specifically as I grew up in Hanover Park and have been on a journey to bring back something good and tangible for that specific community.
After attending a few of their events(Uthando SA), I have personally encountered and experienced the spirit of peace, life, hope and love they create.
I want to be a part of the greater Change, hence being an ambassador and with the song My African Dream, this makes absolute sense to me and I am excited and humbled by the synergies.

My African Dream is a living testimony to the journey I have traveled thus far, both within Africa and around the world. I also believe in the power of music, as a language and a tool, to spread hope, peace, love and inspiration and to teach others that they are worthy, able and important to the future of this country, continent and world, no matter their circumstance, environment or challenges.
